child piranha

literally every 15 minutes my kid wants to eat...all of his pants were
too short one day, and two days later...none of his shoes fit. This kid is an eating machine. It's gotten to the point that his appetite cannot be satiated by a piece of fruit, no, he has to open the fridge and find something that I don't want to do...
I have figured this one out...I have these sorts of things ready...kind of...

  1. I have popsicles in the fridge...made from fruit, almond milk, and maple syrup...
  2. Together, Shark boy and I bake a batch of vegan muffins, two times a week, (that's good for about one snack a day.)
  3. I keep a few glasses full of carrot sticks and celery sticks in water in the fridge...
  4. The pantry is stocked with canned pears in apple juice that my best friend Rachel and I made together
  5. pickles
  6. frozen berries
  7. hummus and bread or a pita
  8. nuts and dried fruit
  9. green smoothie (put extra fruit in his)
  10. and what i call a kids salad...I am glad I decided to get on here and ramble, because now I'm going to have to do another post on this one.
  11. Chicken and veggie soup...I keep batches frozen in canning jars
  12. Miso soup...I found an excellent organic red miso at the health food store...and he loves it.
  13. frozen peas... I get desperate...noodles...whatever... just take it, aaaaaah!
So this phase is going on like this about every other day...every fifteen minutes....Yikes! Some of my friends say "give that kid a burger," and let me share with you that he does eat meat and cheese...just not every day! I am just staying as prepared as I can be for the onslaught of food requests!

  1. It's very easy to find out any matter on net as compared to books, as I found this article at this web site.
