oh so simple cabbage salad

Yessss!  I do love a good cabbage salad!  This is an example of less is more.  Try it simple; shred
cabbage...salt...toss in olive oil and  raw sunflower seeds...let it sit for 20 minutes at room temp...top with fresh cracked pepper...
I just tried this salt and olive oil "marination" on swiss chard...it was super the next day...almost cooked...i bet a squeeze of lemon juice would take it to a whole-nutha-level!
