feeling better on candida diet

I spoke to a naturopathic doctor the other day and she said I was doing everything right as far as curing my yeast infection naturally. Right now the infection is at bay. I am not in pain and feel little to no discomfort, which is quite a change from the excruciating pain suffered by me two weeks ago! I accomplished this with
the help of probiotics, topically applied organic ingredients; plain yogurt, virgin raw coconut oil, and braggs apple cider vinegar with "the mother", eating a super strict candida diet for that time, and drinking plenty of un-chlorinated water. When I say strict diet, it's STRICT.
It goes a little like this;
NO COFFEE
NO CAFFEINE 
NO ALCOHOL 
NO SUGARS OF ANY KIND. THAT INCLUDES most FRUIT AND SOME VEGETABLES
NO PROCESSED FOOD OF ANY SORT
NO DAIRY
NO GRAINS OR CARBOHYDRATES


My diet looks like this...boring! Water, few certain nuts, seaweed, eggs, fish, and wild game, greens and veg  both raw and cooked, coconut oil, and spices.
 I have the FEAR!!! Don't want to get that devil of an infection back...and I'm sticking to this diet until the N.D. tells me it's safe to incorporate other things back in.  ( i Suffered after a slip up when i ate 4 pieces of our son's california roll). Don't slip up if you have this infection, if you feed the yeast it'll be back overnight,  and speak to an N.D. in your area if you have questions, as they will help you without prescribing you some pills and sending you away!
