Chia Pudding is the best

Okay...so when did the chia pet become the "thing" to do with chia seeds? People are seriously nuts! Maybe I was just the last to discover the versatility of this seed, which is probably the case, either way, I am overjoyed with the deliciousness this easy pudding brings!
The freestyle recipe is as follows:

soak a cup of raw almonds in your blender in a few cups of water
for half an hour or more...rinse...add two cups of fresh water and blend well. If you have a Vitamix, blend for a minute...if you have a regular blender, blend for 4 or more minutes depending on your blender. Right now I am using an Osterizer 10 speed blender, it rips, but it's no Vitamix. Took about 5 minutes on liquify to be acceptable! Next, add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon or so of maple syrup...blend for a second to mix, then pour your almond milk into 2 quart jars. (I do not squeeze out the pulp.) Add a heaping tablespoonful of chia seeds and about 1/2 cup of frozen berries to each jar. Put a lid on it! Then...shake it up super good, then let it rest 15 minutes, or overnight...good luck with the overnight thing! This would make a killer breakfast...top it with some oats and chopped apple...That's where I'll be tomorrow morning...delighted.
