I think it's the rain

I swear, as I wrote that title, the sun came out...what does that mean?!

This entry is in honor of Kodiak's Farmers market..as far as I know  the last one will take place this Saturday at the fairground gazebo-thing from 10am-12...end plug....back to Ode...

I will miss you, oh fair, fair market... with your knotty rutabagas and leafy green gargantuan, your ever changing face of bounty, the mix of strangers, visitors, vendors, and
smiling locals and drenched children...your breads, ninja cookies, hand cut soaps, art of many mediums and smalls, soups for hot and gazpacho's for the soul, the beautiful yarn hats and flowers,  the ever ravenous ducks, and gluten free folks meandering, your kickboxy rabbits getting domesticated by flocks of eager children, your gnarly sweet carrots, your milk stand kicking goats, rowdy roosters all upside down and angry, fabulous pies with creams piled high, your best garlicky hummus, and delightful shrubbery, and miscellaneous creations cut out of wood, crafted from yarn, or cloth,  and gazing balls,  of which I cannot yet understand, but admire deeply ...I do wish you could continue forever and that my bestie would come to her hometown and sell her homemade hot pockets!!!  End Ode.
