popular healthy vegan bar recipe snack/hack

 Easiest healthy snack ever



Gather these ingredients: Regular oats, Dates, Almonds, Cacao powder, vanilla, and salt...


Pulse 1 1/2 cups of almonds in food processor
Add 1/2 cup of oats, pulse a few times

add 8 dates (without pits,) 1/3 to 1/2 cup raw cacao powder, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, and a dash of salt to taste.





Pulse until it looks thoroughly incorporated...try a spoonful

adjust sweetness with more dates if needed!
they should ball up nicely, but if they don't add a teaspoon of water and mix again.




form into balls, or bars. If you form into balls, experiment with rolling them in a coating of your choice. Some things i've tried are cacao, coconut, sesame seeds...etc!
Dried cherries are very delicious chopped and added to the mix before you form balls are delicious.
 You can omit the oats, change the nuts, the fruit, add extra cacao, whatever! Freestyle, get crazy, and send me your favorite recipe!

 Warning, raw cacao is chocolate in it's pure form, so beware if you are feeding these to kids as it contains naturally occurring caffeine.
